The Hermit is my favorite tarot card. The card itself stands for introspection and turning to yourself for answers. The lantern holding the star represents your inner light and wisdom. The Hermit goes on a journey of self-discovery, and he goes alone; leaving the distractions of the outside world, being lead by the lantern. The lantern isn't bright enough to illuminate the entire path, so he walks, one step at a time. As he walks, more things come to light. He learns, he adapts. He makes decisions not knowing what lies ahead, but The Hermit knows that the answer to the truth and knowledge he seeks can only be found within himself.

The purpose of The Hermit, LLC is similar. To provide those who are on that journey, being led by only their inner light and wisdom, tools to aide in that journey of self-discovery. Rather than establishing an identity through the eyes and mouths of others, I want to inspire people to look at themselves and determine who they are outside of the noise and pressure that muffles your true self.

I implore you, go on that journey of self-discovery. Find your inner light, shine it on your path and find your own way. No one else can get you to inner peace but you.
